The Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR) have recently released an extensive report on Ticks and tick-borne diseases that can have harmful effects on bush regenerators, bush workers and people who love the bush.

This report outlines the real risks that some people have been unlucky enough to experience through a common tick bite. Among tick borne diseases is Lyme disease, a serious illness that can be transferred through a tick bite.

All ticks may have the potential to carry Lyme disease, so we urge you to read through the report to build your awareness around this issue and develop a plan should you encounter a tick bite in the field.

Please feel free to share with any one you know who has kids, pets, works or spends time in the bush.
