Biodiversity Australia was engaged to undertake the relocation of a flying-fox roost from a problematic location in the center of Ingham. Successful completion of a project of this nature requires the application of specialist knowledge and techniques in order to achieve optimal practical, ethical and public relations outcomes within the requirements of federal and state legislation. A long-term approach has been adopted to ensure the successful permanent relocation of the flying-fox roost.
