Joe Kaufman is a Project Administrator at Biodiversity Australia with a strong passion for conservation and environmental science. Holding a degree in Marine Zoology and experience with global conservation organisations, he brings a well-rounded background in administration, project support, and continuous improvement, alongside experience in advocacy and campaigning.

Joe is driven by a desire to help teams operate efficiently and contribute to projects that deliver meaningful environmental outcomes. With a keen interest in ecology, he is committed to continually expanding his knowledge and skills within the field.

Why is working in environmental services important to you?

Working in the environmental industry has always been deeply important to me. I’m motivated by the knowledge that my work contributes to something positive — being part of efforts that protect and improve our natural world is incredibly fulfilling. I hope to play a role in driving meaningful change while continuing to learn and grow along the way.
