Samir Khader is an Ecologist with a diverse background spanning marine science, environmental regulation and applied ecological consulting. He has delivered biodiversity assessments, impact assessments and management plans across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, renewable energy, biodiversity offsets and marine environments throughout Queensland and New South Wales. Samir’s experience across research, government and consulting roles has shaped a practical, data-driven approach, ensuring assessments are robust, defensible and aligned with regulatory requirements. Environmental services are where good data and careful analysis shape real decisions. My experience across research, regulation, and consulting has shown me how outcomes improve when projects are grounded in strong fieldwork, clear thinking, and practical delivery. This work allows me to use my technical skills and experience to support development while helping manage environmental risk in a way that is realistic, transparent, and accountable.
