Bronte is a competent and qualified Ecologist with skills including client relations, team leading, fauna and flora surveys, Data management and report writing with the majority of field work taking place in Southeast Queensland, Toowoomba Region, Surat Basin and Brigalow Belt. Bronte has completed several formal qualifications including a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Diploma in Science and certificates in animal behaviour.  Bronte has several years of experience working with animals and their varying habitats and undertaking targeted flora and fauna surveys. Bronte has expertise with handling and surveying for a variety of animals including Koalas. Bronte’s most recent work is conducting targeted flora and fauna surveys on multiple ongoing seismic gas projects for major clients. Field tasks include ecological field surveys identifying regional ecosystems, identifying species present through ecological assessments, and identifying EVNT habitat. Liaising with the client to write and produce timely reports on the field data and GIS analysis to suit client requirements. Bronte has worked on several projects in her time at Biodiversity Australia in identifying a range of species across different environments. Experience includes Regional Ecosystems (RE) knowledge, targeted flora and fauna surveys, camera trapping, assessment and mapping, habitat assessments (aquatic and terrestrial), wildlife catching and handling (aquatic and terrestrial); cultural heritage surveys, report writing, development of HRSMPs, SMPs and proposals, research, data collection, GIS analysis and mapping.
