We’re thrilled to announce that Biodiversity Australia has taken home the Resource Sector Collaboration of the Year Award at the AEMEE Awards, held last night in Perth! This recognition highlights our ongoing collaboration with Shell QGC, with whom we’ve been working since 2019 to promote both environmental sustainability and Indigenous community empowerment.

Our collaboration has been all about creating real opportunities for First Nations people while delivering expert environmental services. Over 60% of our workforce in this project is Indigenous, far surpassing our initial goals. This award is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact we can make when we work together for both community and environment.

We’re incredibly proud of the journey so far and look forward to continuing our work, ensuring that sustainability, cultural heritage, and social responsibility stay at the forefront of everything we do.
