Biodiversity Australia were engaged by Sanctuary Cove PTBC to conduct a five-year program of eastern grey kangaroo (Macropus giganteus) population management within Sanctuary Cove Golf Course and surrounding areas. The aim of the project is to utilise Biodiversity Australia’s extensive experience and knowledge of macropod biology to achieve a reduction of Sanctuary Cove’s kangaroo population to sustainable levels.

  • On-ground population control using species-specific techniques and tools, including innovative fertility control interventions
  • Population monitoring
