Biodiversity Australia were engaged to spray an area of 2 square metres around each guidepost, sign or bridge to reduce native grasses to allow access via the mechanical slashers. This improves the effectiveness and view of the road assets. The roads were State Government funded roads throughout the region including the Warrego, Leichhardt and Moonie highways.

Average output was around 1,200 litres a day depending on water accessibility. Driver safety was a key risk on this project so very strong concentration skills were required.
